Barbara is retired from the US Air Force and is largely a self-taught photographer. In 2009, while on a daily walk, she saw what clearly looked like Snoopy and Woodstock in tar on the street. Her TarArt photography was born that day and since then she searches sidewalks, streets, and parking lots for images in tar.
Barbara is Past President of the St. Charles County Arts Council in O'Fallon Mo., and active in several arts organizations in St. Louis. She exhibits her award winning photography widely in the St Louis region and across the country, and was selected as a member of the 2019/2020 Emerging Artists as Entrepreneurs class with the St Louis Art Fair.
Barbara is also a natural photographer (see Nature on the Wall page) and a Pastel artist who specializes in pet portraits. Www.BarbsTapp.weebly.com.
